After spending the winter months experimenting and doing many small projects, I decided it was time to work on a larger scale and in a longer time frame...
Plus, I miss working on a large crazy quilt...
So here goes on a project inspired by my Home in the Garden "warm-up". (And thank you, everyone, for your very nice comments on that!)
As usual, I have lots of amorphous ideas and a general thrust for the design, but most of it will happen as I go. I hope to be done with this by the end of July. That's the goal anyway!
At the moment, this is 50" X 50", but it will shrink to about 42" X 42".
So off we go!

How exciting-a whole new project to enjoy! Can't wait to see your home/garden grow.
I can't wait to watch this develop. I hope you'll bring it to Long Beach in July. (oooooh yay....)
Looking forward to seeing it grow. It looks very blue & white right now, I have a lot of white snow I'd be glad to send you for it!!:)
I love the blue and green - it's already hot here in Texas. This will be a pleasure to watch develop - I've been waiting for another big project, and will look forward to this one.
With all the incredible work you do I can't wait to see where this one goes:)
HUGZ:)

Looks interesting, Allie. I know it will be beautiful when you're done. Are you doing another scene of your house? Do you construct all your CQ quilts this way? What is your foundation fabric? Not too many questions, eh.....
Our weather is improving very slowly. In fact, it was beautiful yesterday, but we're back to gloom now. It's been a very late spring this year!
I love seeing how you execute the beginnings of new projects. The shape of this one leaves lots of posts for me to look forward to!
