Ink Jet Floral Fabrics

I have until early next week to play with a new project....then I'll be working steadily on preparing for my classes in Baltimore.
So I decided to play with some of my flower imagery and had some fun printing this morning.

I've combined my home printed flower fabrics with commercial fabric in crazy quilts before, but I want to see how a quilt looks with only my own prints in it. And lace of course. And stitching, ribbonwork, beading, etc.
16" X 16", say, for another Alliance quilt?

I wonder how much trouble I can get in over the next 5 days?

That would be so fun! I've never printed my own fabric, which sounds very difficult.

How fun! I like the big green and blue ones; they look like batik. The others are nice too, so it'll be fun to see what you have up your sleeve this time.

I'd say you're up to your elbows in flowers. I'll be watching for the results of your fun.

You've certainly solved the saturated color problems on these. Very pretty.

The 16" size is just right for experimenting. Those lovely flowers will put you right in the mood for spring!

I'm thinkin' the ink supplier should be giving you a deep discount as a Favoured Customer!

Seriously, though, the prints look wonderful. I have done some printing -- but mostly labels -- and the odd photo. Have you tried it on sheers (like Extravorganza)? You could do overlays...

I love that blue color on the piece second from the right on the bottom row.

Gorgeous!
Do you use fabric sheets ready prepared directly or do you iron the images on from transfere sheets?
I'm so looking forward to what becomes of this wealth of floral beauty!
Hugs from me :)

Hey, I sent in my first crazy quilt to this contest. I was inspired by Donna Johnson, Oklahoma. It was fun!!
