Spring CQ...Full View

Theresa, this overall shot is at your request...glad to do it!
And the threads on the iris were two strands of hand-dyed silk floss by Vicki Clayton.

Wish I had better lighting....but you can get the idea of how things are shaping up....

I don't think the iris dominates the quilt at all. I think it frames the left side of your quilt quite nicely. It's really quite lovely...

Did you interface the tie fabrics or cut the fabric lose and go with it?

Love the iris-I added a few to my Tropical Tree of Life and they look so pretty.

Love the iris, Allie; it's another of my favorite flowers. Hope your weather down south is better than here....it's chilly and grey. I guess that helps the blossoms last longer, right?
