The Letter "A"

No, this is not from Sesame Street....it is just one thing leading to another....and so much fun!

You can tell what's blooming these days...all the flowers in my flower arrangements come from the yard...
But in about another two weeks there should be a whole new palette to work with!

These are four of my six production flower beds...I've been doing mostly weeding for the last two weeks, but the flowers have definitely outgrown the weeds by now. Victory! We've had aphids galore due to the damp weather, but I sprayed them with a fine horticultural oil spray and that has helped.
Popping the old Advil, as Nolan Ryan used to say, ".....I can go another nahn innings..."...or at least, fill another bucket with weeds for the compost bin....

I love seeing the way you put flowers together. They always take my breath away. Thank God for a world that provides such beauty to us.

I love your floral monomgram. That's a new twist on your mandalas. I weeded over the weekend too--it wasn't too bad (yet). I'm trying to stay ahead of it.

Oh my how your garden has grown! You were pointing out plants just sprouting when I was visiting. And of course I adore the "A" for Allie. Beautiful flowers.

Gosh, if I weeded my yard, there'd be nothing left but dirt!

Your flowers are lovely. I love the letter A. Will you be going through the entire alphabet?

Ooo.. you should do it for Somerset Magazine!

That's another darling bouquet! You are working hard in that garden to have your flowers, though. Are you taking pics of these arrangments to print and use? Or just making them to enjoy?
