Vintage CQ...Flower #11

Oh, it's been hot around here!
Almost too hot for stitching, but not quite...

Flower #11 was mostly made of Mokuba ombre ribbon that I got from Maureen Greason's website. I love this stuff!

The large center flower is wire-edged rayon; the little flowers ringing the center are made of the ombre Mokuba. The little lazy daisy leaves are 4mm silk ribbon. The center daisy was glued into place!

It's to be another hot one today, but those poblano peppers are insisting on my attention....

Very nice, Allie. I finally started (and posted) a project with "your" fabric. Now to stitch and then embellish it...... See how hot it was here on my blog, too. Stay cool if you can with all those peppers!

I have been thinking of you with all the heat in Oregon but obviously it has not dampened your creative spirit. I love all the little mokuba flowers around the large middle one and I think I just bought some of those little daisy like flowers at JoAnnes the other day.
Now I now how to use them.

Hugs and keep cool.
