This is like showing us the back of the Summer Floral mandala- a peek at the hidden. I bet you are not going to back this with boudoir pink crushed velvet!
It feels so good to get a fix of Allie's CQ after quite of while of not getting to the blogs. I've always loved the hidden designs on the back of needlework. I love all the little touches you are putting in this quilt. That little plane is wonderful! Somewhere this week I saw an article of one of your neighbors on Whidby Island, but I can't remember where or who. My brain is not too sharp these days. Glad you didn't wash away.

Interesting - some of it is rather pretty!! what on earth size needle to you use for those "dust" beads???
I love seeing the backs of things. Sometimes when I'm finished stitching, I just turn it over and admire the nice stitches on the back. =)
Oooh -- and the fronts are looking really good too. This one is something special!
Wow! How interesting. I've always wondered...it's like getting a peek at the secret underpinnings.
I assume it gets covered up on a CQ. The predictable thing people do with quilts is turn them over to look at the back.
Some of the neatest patterns show up unexpectedly on the back, don't they? Ya just never know what you're gonna see!
