And More Border Blocks

I spent all day futzing with trying to get all my corners re-squared and appliqueing a few more choice fabrics into place in the center section of my John Campbell quilt. It was nit-pickey work! But now I can begin the main embellishment there.

    Beautiful work! I specially admire the fan in the last photo and the chain stitch work in the picture just above. How exciting that you're now ready for the main embellishment.

    I love them all, but that last one, with the fan is just stunning. I think the fan charm is just perfect. The block two under the one with the fan charm - I love the way your embroidery comes out of the fabric design next to it.

    Wow, those woven fans, actually all the fans, are wonderful. And the block with the reds,purple and brilliant rose just took my breath away. Love those vibrant colors together.
