Greetings from Baltimore...

I have a quiet hour before class this a.m. so wanted to check in with you all!

This trip has been utterly magical for so many reasons. Susan has been a truly lovely host and friend, my students have been wonderful, the teaching is a rich and brand new endeavor, already showing me great joy and challenge too (there is so much to learn)...and getting to join JoWynn for dinner at her marvelous community of Charlestown--we've been online friends for several years now--oh how marvelous!

It didn't take me and Susan long to be on one continuous smile ride....
(Susan just taught me how to post bigger pictures.)

The block piecing class went well...

The embellishment class has encountered a few technical glitches--the kits need to be tweaked a little--but my students are so receptive and encouraging that everything's been o.k.

Susan took this picture of Jowynn and me....

What a treat and blessing of friendship it was, to get to spend time "in person".

A full day of class awaits...hoping you are all well and stitching....
