All lectures are approximately one hour in length.

From Sane to Crazy: My Life in Quilts
An image heavy PowerPoint presentation of 40 years of quiltmaking, from bed quilts through Broderie Perse, Stained Glass, Landscape, and Crazy quilting

Crazy Quilts--Conception to Completion
From concept to stash, design wall to machine piecing, to handwork, embellishment and finishing, the process of creating Allie's crazy quilts has many steps.  She relishes them all, and in this image heavy lecture she will show you several quilts' progression from beginning to end. These long term projects allow for a deep involvement with her work (many quilts take about a year to complete): you will get the time lapse version!  Design considerations and technical issues will be discussed along the way.  She will have several of these quilts on hand for you to inspect as well.
