1017C  Intro to Stained Glass Quilting, Allie Style    8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

SKILL LEVEL:  Beginner-Int.

We will create blocks that look complex but are so easy, using the Glue Appliqué and Iron On Leading Techniques from Allie's new book. Students will leave with the knowledge and inspiration to make many more of these habit forming blocks, to create a quilt the size of their choosing.

Note: You will need to bring your own machine to class, with a zig zag footplate.

2017C   Through a Gothic Window     8:00 AM - 3:00 PM     $85

SKILL LEVEL:  Intermediate

The traditional Gothic Window block can be interpreted so many different ways, depending on fabric choices and additional design elements. We will use freezer paper appliqué to create the basic blocks, with a wealth of variations demo-ed and explored in class, including simple machine embroidery, big stitch hand quilting, and Allie's basic stained glass quilting technique. Students will leave inspired with the means to complete their own unique projects at home.

Note: You will need to bring your own machine to class, with a zig zag footplate.

3017C   Stained Glass Pillow     8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

SKILL LEVEL:  Beginner - Int.

Velvet ribbon is appliquéd over a simple geometric background to create a vivid stained glass style pillow top. It is then machine quilted, its backing sewn on, and ready to receive its 18" square insert when you go home.

Note: You will need to bring your own machine to class, with a zig zag footplate.
