I'm curious about the effects of printer ink over time. Does the ink jet ink fade? I've certainly seen it fade on photos, especially if exposed to the sun. But I've never seen it fade on regular documents (that don't get much exposure to anything). Any ideas on how long that kind of ink lasts on fabric, even when printed on treated fabric? In fact, that's another aspect to the question - does a fabric treatment (like bubble jet set, or similar products) make the ink jet ink permanent?

Sorry for the looooong question - just curious about that, since I see computer printed graphics in crazy quilting quite often.

Anyway - it's really pretty! And a super-nice gift!Mary Corbethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12784249791065857006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016674207999094300.post-87386322668635663292008-01-16T15:53:00.000-08:002008-01-16T15:53:00.000-08:00What an heirloom to go with the cottage - she'll t...What an heirloom to go with the cottage - she'll treasure it!Possibilities, Etc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00301188397987608400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016674207999094300.post-27056836276281969382008-01-16T13:17:00.000-08:002008-01-16T13:17:00.000-08:00What a lovely gift that will be!What a lovely gift that will be!Vicki Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929340703066037054noreply@blogger.com
